Salon Crush: Halcyon

This week we are Salon Crushing with Kerry Penisula-Spain and Kyla McLean of Halcyon in Invercargill!

When and why did you launch your salon?
Our salon opened mid November 2015. We wanted to create a creative space unique to the industry, providing an asset to our local peers and Invercargill community/businesses as a whole. We have a created a space that makes sense; an escape/sanctuary for our guests, where we can do all that we are passionate about under one roof.

Describe your salon in 10 words or less.

2. The next generation of hairdressers coming through.
3. Each other.

Your favourite quote?
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – from PS: I Love You, by H. Jackson Brown.
